Why would someone from Minnesota want to organize a Nebraska Football Tour?

I have been a ‘Huskers fan ever since the days of Jarvis Redwine in the late 1970s and that passion as a fan led me to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during the 1995-1996 school year (out-of-state tuition costs forced me back to Minnesota, where I graduated from Southwest State University) and proudly had student season tickets during that season.

My first experience outside the Midwest was attending the Orange Bowl when Nebraska defeated Miami 24-17 for the 1994 National Championship (photo from our seats at the top of this page) and the following year a group of us set out for Tempe, Arizona, to watch the ‘Huskers beat the Gators in the Fiesta Bowl to repeat as champions (our photo after the game below; I am on the far left in this picture from over 15 years ago).

I know how well ‘Husker fans travel and believe offering a trip like this would be successful, as nobody will have to worry about driving, parking, finding a place to stay, game tickets, etc. All you have to do is step on the bus and leave all the worries to us! I realize that traveling to a place like Ohio State would be more appealing, but I wanted to make sure I offered a tour to a game where I knew I could get group tickets! If this goes well, I would like to offer another tour the following season to either Purdue or Minnesota.
